This is a simple guide which I have written on how to fix TM UniFi DIR-615 WiFi Issues.
If you are facing the following issues :-
- WiFi disconnects often
- WiFi connection is very slow compared to using Cable
- Unable to connect to WiFi at all (This is common for iPhone , Macs and iPad)
Fear not , I’ll show you step-by-step on how to fix it. I will be working with Amanz to get this article translated to Malay language , which I’ll share the link once it has been translated
Login to UniFi router. Simply go to http://192.168.1.1 or alternatively http://192.168.0.1
You may use the following login
Username : admin (or operator)
Password : h566UniFi
Then go to Advanced
In advance , click on Advanced Wireless
Change Wireless Mode from 802.11n/g/b to 802.11g/b
If you want to use 802.11n , then change the bandwidth to 20Mhz only.
I find that the router runs much more stabler with 802.11g/b. It has no impact on your Internet speed unless you are using UniFi 20Mbps
Restart your Router and your Modem. Try connecting , your WiFi signal and connection should be much better
