Finally – Proton is Going Green (after all)

I think its going to be the greatest debut of 2008. Proton has finally decided to come up with hybrid cars. Hurray. Guess they have opened their eyes on what is going on. Okay , enough of  hyping it big time , we all do know of proton’s past records – that is producing world-class cars  producing pile of metal junk on the road. If they did a good job , I bet Jeremy Clarkson  wouldn’t even go on and bash Proton. I’ll stop on my /b/ (bashing) here.

For those of you guys who do not know what is a Hybrid car , basically is a vechicle that has 2 or more power source (Just think of it as a Laptop – You have battery power or you can always hook it up to External Power Source) . This is ideal as we know oil prices aren’t going to be cheap in the near future as the resources are scare and oil/petrol is an inelastic supply (which simply means , you can’t increase the production oil just like that). Let us wait and see if Proton has learnt their lesson and who knows , this can be the start of something new for proton. They might produce a quality hybrid car !. Let us go by our Malaysian motto –  which is “Malaysia Boleh !”
